Cutting Costs Through Web-based Training

This week’s observation: As companies are rolling out their 2013 budgets, one concern across industries is how to achieve cost savings within learning and development programs. With budgets remaining constant while employee populations are growing, many companies are increasingly turning towards web-based training to decrease the cost of traditional instructor-led programs, especially as virtual workforce populations increase. It is expected that these more flexible forms of training delivery will continue to gain in popularity in the coming years as best practices are established.
