At our Raytheon Professional Services (RPS) Symposiums, held recently in Frankfurt and London, we discussed the challenge of keeping pace with today’s changing learning landscape while preparing for tomorrow’s needs. With the help of insightful presentations from a variety of learning experts, we explored the most pressing topics on the minds of senior HR and learning and development professionals.
- Embedding Social Learning into Day-to-Day Work; Aushima Thakur, senior manager Communities of Practice at Philips Lighting
- How Leaders Really Develop; Bert De Coutere, solutions architect at the Center for Creative Leadership
- How to Embed Learning into Your Organisation; Laura Overton, managing director at Towards Maturity
- Social Learning and Utilising It within Today’s Workplace; Talat Riaz, senior training and development specialist, Raytheon Professional Services
The event was focused on interaction and discussion, and with our partners CorporateLeaders, a number of important discussions were facilitated around current challenges faced by learning professionals. Conversations also included the increasingly important role the 70-20-10 framework is having within organisations – in terms of leadership development, social learning techniques, and embedding experiential and social learning.
The group also discussed trends and influences on learning in a conversation moderated by Steve Thompson, director business development EMEA, Raytheon Professional Services.
What driving forces do you see making an impact on the future of learning? Will you be prepared implement new experiential and social learning techniques in your organization in 2016? We are here to assist with solutions for your learning and development initiatives and look forward to hearing from you.
In addition, if you work in the Telecom or Technology sector in the UK, RPS invites you to attend a special networking meeting, for senior HR and L&D professionals, on Thursday, October 8th, at the offices of Telefónica Digital in London. The event provides a great opportunity to discuss challenges and explore the latest training solutions moving the industry forward. Together with our partner, Towards Maturity, we invite you to register for the meeting here.
